E-mail & UD's Electronic Campus
To help you navigate your way through our electronic campus:

- Attend the information technology orientation during the first week of classes.
- Establish a UDelnet identification number. A UDelNet account is automatically created for each new student the day after receiving a University of Delaware ID card. You can obtain your student ID at the Student Services Building before or after orientation.
- Once you have your UDelnet ID, activate your email account. Activate your student e-mail as soon as possible. You will receive important messages about classes and other business on your UDel email account.
- You may set your account to automatically forward email to an ISP or Internet Service Provider, like an AOL or Hotmail account. This can help you manage multiple email accounts.
- The University supports Netscape Mail, Outlook, and Webmail in addition to Pine for student use. Instructions for configuring Netscape and Outlook can be found at the Help with E-mail page.
- Provide the School office with your e-mail address (184 Graham or email suapp@udel.edu) at orientation or as soon as possible.
- Visit the Information Technologies Help Center page for information about dialing in to the UD network from home, campus computing sites, computing classes and much more.
- To have questions answered via telephone, call the Help Desk at 302-831-6000.
