Greetings!

I am delighted to welcome you to the School of Public Policy and Administration at the University of Delaware, the School known for integrating academic excellence with professional practice!

You will find our website provides information on our highly rated academic programs offered in a stimulating intellectual environment while preparing students for a variety of positions in the public, private and nonprofit sectors.  Our close relationship with affiliated research centers allows us to provide unique opportunities for professional development recognized by leading authorities in the field.  For example, the School of Public Policy and Administration earned top honors in Planetizen's 2009 Guide to Graduate Urban Planning Programs.  And in 2008, the School received the academic excellence award for outstanding education and training in the field of Human Services.

Built on the intellectual foundations of urban affairs and public administration, the School's highly regarded graduate programs offer an MA, MPA, MS and a PhD, rooted in applied research and public service.  Hallmarks of the School's strong commitment to practical experience include research assistantships, teaching assistantships and internship placements.

In addition to our renown graduate programs, the School Public Policy and Administration offers two undergraduate degrees, a B.S. in Organizational and Community Leadership and a B.A. in Public Policy.

Recognizing the need for international experiences as well, the School facilitates student and faculty exchanges and organizes academic and research oriented study abroad trips to exciting destinations throughout the world for undergraduate and graduate students.
